Some thoughts from a will-perspective

Meditation (Doing) – the trance state, stillness of mind, inward gaze, that occurs when we get involved in mundane, boring, long duration tasks. Something you have been doing to some extent in this will camp.

Meditation (Feeling) effect similar to other meditation form, the trance that happens when we sing hymns, songs, bhajans, dance and so on.

Meditation (Thinking) most popular & modern form of meditation. i.e. Stillness of our minds. Many of you are probably familiar with many techniques, schools of thoughts and variations.

The most forgotten or less used is the doing form of meditation which can takes us into silence-solitude-stillness and brings out great creativity and calmness to ourselves.

Our association with mind based work to be on a higher plane than doing based forms, we generally put this form of meditation at the bottom of the list.

Since you have experienced to an extent the doing form of meditation (as done in the will-boot-camp), whenever time and opportunity presents do engage yourself in any single, repetitive, mundane, boring work which can last from 30 min to 60 min and observe your self at the end of it.

Explore this form of meditation whenever possible to balance the other forms that you may be practising.
